Re: Nikhil Banerjee; this never would have been published by any of the labels - and there's so much, much more of the little-known and under-appreciated masters from India. Keep up the great work Henry!
Thanks very much for sharing this with everybody. But the .sit archive seems to be password protected. I could view the two .mp3 files inside but couldn't extract them. Please help.
Hi, I'm not sure if I'm getting something wrong. I just found that the UVK JogKauns 2 and RS's Jogeshwari archives are also password protected. I'm visiting your blog for the first time today and have no idea if there are any rules involved. Would love to get those music that I've just mentioned. Thanks.
thank you very much sharing these wonderful pieces. however i could not uncompress .sit file extension.i use a windows operating system and have no mac systems readily available to me.can you suggest me a way out?
I use Stuffit 11.0.2.55 (free)Smith Micro Software (15.0Mb), You can also use Universal Extractor, works fine(and it's free) Password: Henry's Archive If you have any problems extracting the file let me know. Henry
Please correct the information on the poster. It says that the interview took place on 25th Jan 1987. But as far as I know Pt. Nikhil Banerjee was died on 27th January 1986. for those who want to read more about Pt. Nikhil Banerjee http://staff.spd.dcu.ie/johnbcos/Nikhil_Banerjee.htm
And a hearty thanks to all of you who created this great blog. God bless you. Peace.

Thank you for this post.
I believe that you meant to write "1986," because this is the year that he died.
that's right, 1986 is correct
sorry for this
enjoy the music!
more to come,
Henry
