Just met your blog, heavenly crazyness, can't believe it: a lot of Nikhil Banerjee! I recently got drowned into the wonderful music of that man but too late for seeing him alive. You're doing a true labour love there, and a place dedicated to Banerjee & Beefheart cannot be wrong!
Let's keep on dreamin' & singin' the true human blues.
Many many thx, Brother Henry, & peace on you.

Fact: this film was directed by the master Indian film maker Ritwik Ghatak. though he actually could not complete the film due to some misunderstanding with Hari Sadhan Dasgupta. thats why there's no Director's name in the credit.

Thank you for posting this movie. I saw this in Doordarshan sometime in 1993. I knew Harisadhan dasgupta closely. He told me that Ritwik Ghatak indeed started filming the movie but Ghatak could not finish it due to reasons that cannot be discussed in this forum. I asked him the reason. He wrote in a letter to me that it is of such bad taste that it cannot be disclosed and discussed. Anyway he told me the reason in person.
