There are no longer 'dancers', the possessed.
The cleavage of men into actor and spectators
is the central fact of our time. We are obsessed
with heroes who live for us and whom we punish.
If all the radios and televisions were deprived
of their sources of power, all books and paintings
burned tomorrow, all shows and cinemas closed,
all the arts of vicarious existence...
We are content with the 'given' in sensation's
quest. We have been metamorphosised from a mad
body dancing on hillsides to a pair of eyes
staring in the dark.

An absolutely beautiful album. Thank you SOOOO much for sharing.I love the variety of your blog,especially the Indian classical.I have been a fan of that type of music for more than 40 years.
I recently found out in one blog a Larry Coryell record in which this great musician also played. It is called standing ovation and I was looking for it for about 3 decades. Since then (the late 70's) I have bought 5-6 of his solo records and I love him very much. Thanks a million for this one.
thanks a lot for this, are there parts 1 to 3?? i searched couldn't get them !!
not really like this, only short pieces, kind of South Indian Anthology. This is the most interesting part.
