Greetings... I've downloaded the Budhaditya Mukherjee file twice but it seems that after I extract the archive the file cannot be played. Has anyone else had this problem?

Thanks... Jay

I recorded this live concert(1989) from radio. It's actually a compilation of two cassettes(I recorded only the last 28 minutes). It took me years to find someone who had the (also with a gap due to tape length) complete rag. At 45min.42sec. you can hear a change of audio quality. Despite what other people think, I guess this is one of the greatest performances ever captured on tape...

Thanks for posting. Is it possible to download this recording and listen to it on a cd? If so, please let me know how to go about it? Thanks again for sharing such a great recording. Best Regards.

Sure, click on the BM image, download the file, use Stuffit(free software) to unzip(or .sit) and just drag the mp3 in your cd burning software(Toast for Mac or Nero for PC) and burn it as an audio cd.
Where U from?

Is there a stuffit version available for PC? If not, how can PC users unzip the .sit files?

Hi Henry.. Thanks for making some potentially wonderful music available.. I have downloaded the Vilayat Khan 78's and the Irshad Khan however despite downloading the Stuffit software as advised (twice from different sources) I keep getting asked for an ARCHIVE PASSWORD before I can burn to CD. Is this password from your end or from the software..can you shed some light.. its very frustrating being this close and not being able to listen.

Hello there,
it's my password:
Henry's Archive
(just copy & paste)
You can also use Universal Extractor,
works fine(and it's free)
The Bhairagi-Bhairav is awesome, just like the Jogkauns.
Chills guaranteed...

Thanks Henry everything working fine, I did try that password (guess I missed the apostrophe)I really am impressed with the Bhairagi-Bhairav . I believe that the first time I've heard the surbahar if that is the instrument.. I really appreciate your posts.
