There are no longer 'dancers', the possessed.
The cleavage of men into actor and spectators
is the central fact of our time. We are obsessed
with heroes who live for us and whom we punish.
If all the radios and televisions were deprived
of their sources of power, all books and paintings
burned tomorrow, all shows and cinemas closed,
all the arts of vicarious existence...
We are content with the 'given' in sensation's
quest. We have been metamorphosised from a mad
body dancing on hillsides to a pair of eyes
staring in the dark.

Henry - Thank you for all of the great Indian music you have made available on your site. When I download this file and try to expand it, however, I get an error message that it may be corrupt or damaged. Just wanted you to know.
this sometimes happens apparently.
I downloaded the file and it's OK (77.3Mb).
Try redownload and be sure to use the right password:

These are mostly LowFi mp3, the Bilaskhani Todi however is highly digestable!

Weird. Just downloaded NB Koln 71 and it expanded fine. Downloaded this file, and when I enter the correct p/w and attempt to expand it I get an error message: "The structure of the archive is damaged (Error #17540)". FWIW, I'm running OS X 10.5.2 Leopard on an iMac. I tried to do it on a PowerBook running Tiger (10.4.9), but got the same result. Ah well...
That's weird indeed,I also use 10.4.9
and no problems occur.
Anybody else has a problem with this file?
