There are no longer 'dancers', the possessed.
The cleavage of men into actor and spectators
is the central fact of our time. We are obsessed
with heroes who live for us and whom we punish.
If all the radios and televisions were deprived
of their sources of power, all books and paintings
burned tomorrow, all shows and cinemas closed,
all the arts of vicarious existence...
We are content with the 'given' in sensation's
quest. We have been metamorphosised from a mad
body dancing on hillsides to a pair of eyes
staring in the dark.

thanks alot for sharing these wonderfull indian classical concerts specially of budhaditya mukherjee and vilayat khan.
even i'm having a lot of classical music on my hard drive.
if you think i can share please let me know.
and another request to you. it would be really grateful if you upload lots of stuff of budhaditya mukherjee and vilayat khan.
even if you wanna share seperately and not on this thread. i'm ready as you and me both of us are having a great collection.

Wonderful music as always Henry,this is the most lovely performance of Pt. Budhaditya Mukherjee I have ever listened to,thank you very much for uploading it! Anyway I am fairly sure that the first item is Raga Bihag..
